£10M Investment In 800 New Baffle Isotanks For Suttons

Suttons Group, a global logistics and supply chain specialist, has boosted its capacity to carry a wider range of liquids and fluids after purchasing 800 new baffle isotanks.

The £10m investment brings the total fleet to 7000, with baffle tanks outnumbering non-baffle tanks, in response to increased demand to move a wider range of products.

The company, whose head office is in the North West, has already taken delivery of 500 with the remaining 300 entering the supply chain over the next 6 months.

Andrew Baird, Technical Services Director, from Suttons Group said:

"Our success in winning new business and ongoing commitment to our existing customers means we are continually updating our fleet.

"These new isotanks which are being added to the deep-sea fleet and deployed around the world, give us greater flexibility and the ability to carry a broader range of products.

"Our continued focus on safety ensures there is also full compliance with the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code."
