Suttons International Uk New Members

Suttons International have recently hired a number of new team members joining our International Operations team based in Widnes. This is part of the Suttons commitment to invest in our business and ensure the highest levels of safety and customer focus at all times.

Rebecca Addison – Senior Administrator 

My name is Rebecca Addison and I have joined Widnes operations as a Senior Administrator.

I have a degree in social work but upon completion I fell upon an opportunity within the food distribution business and decided that administration was a more enjoyable occupation. I was furloughed in January and decided to look for something stable which led me to Suttons.

Outside of office hours (and Covid-19 restrictions) I see my nephews Jack and Ben, family and friends. I enjoy little city breaks and sunny beaches and the occasional night out trying different flavoured gins!

Sam Walton – Operations Controller

 I used to be a Warehouse Manager based in Oldham where I ran a team picking and delivering blinds on behalf of Dunelm. I also dealt with the goods side of the business, which included booking containers. I did this for the best part of 2 years.

I live in Runcorn with my partner and our 20-month year old little boy called Franklyn. I enjoy the norms like football, running and of course the occasional pint. Happy to be part of the team now!   

Callum Underwood – Operations Controller 

The majority of my transport experience comes from working for a small family run business that was extremely intense and challenging. I started work as an apprentice completing basic tasks and over a few months I was trained up to be a Transport Operator.

 I excelled at the work I was given and always handled pressure extremely well therefore I was awarded a promotion to Senior Operator. In this position I oversaw a team of four operators and was responsible for hitting weekly costs and revenue targets.

 In my personal life I would say I am a very active individual. I have always enjoyed playing football and have taken part in charity boxing events in the past and would usually spend most of my spare time in the gym, running, or going on hikes.

Reece Davies – Operations Controller 

Hi, my name is Reece Davies and I have recently joined Suttons as an Operations Controller. I am settling into the role well and I have thoroughly enjoyed my first month within the business.

In my spare time I like to go on holiday, fishing, and socialising with my friends and family. I also like to go to concerts and music events.

In the past I have worked in 3 logistical roles for FMCG companies, and I am keen to settle in and build up my skills within Suttons. I am looking forward to progressing my career at Suttons and hope for a successful and life-long career at this company.
